Setting Re-Test Periods in PATGuard Cloud
In scenarios where you have imported your assets but do not yet have re-test periods, PATGuard Cloud providers editing interfaces for setting this. This guide will show selecting a series of assets and applying a re-test period as a bulk change.
Why set the Re-Test periods?
Having the re-test periods set allows for reminders and calendar scheduling to function.
How to tell if the Re-Test period is missing
Using the Assets tab within the Organiser (at any level- Client, Site or Location) you can view the listing of Assets. The ones we are looking for will have empty Next Test dates:
Quickly set Re-Test periods for multiple assets
You can open the properties of each asset to individually set Re-Test periods and Dates, but for most users, the Bulk Edit functionality will of more use.
- Select the assets that you would like to edit using the checkboxes in the grid

- Press the Bulk Edit button

- Within the Bulk Edit dialog, set the Re-Test period for the assets (e.g. 12 months) - you can ignore setting the other properties

- Apply the changes and the dialog will close. The grid should refresh with the newly populated Next Test dates appearing
- You're set!
